Kait Townsend is an illustrative tattoo artist with a love for the dark and romantic.
She has been a part of Serpent Moon since August 2020. Under the guidance of her mentor, Kati Zmenkowski, she completed her apprenticeship in early 2021.
Her favorite subjects are flowers, plants, animals, objects, lady heads, kitschy and cute, and anything eerie. She draws inspiration from Victorian illustrations and style from the late 19th and early 20th century.
In terms of style, majority of her tattoos are done in black and gray. However, she also enjoys doing color and is open to most challenges. She is experienced in styles that include detailed and intricate linework, sharp contrast, folk art, soft shading, and delicate flowing designs.
